In 9 days we are moving (only across town to a house that better fits our growing family), and that meant that for the last month or so our house has been void of everything except the necessities to make our house show-able on a dime for potential buyers/renters. Literally the only toys my kids have is one small bucket each. Everything else is in a storage unit awaiting moving day.
To everyone's great relief, we rented the house last week, and we've returned to our former habits (um, NO, I do NOT vacuum every day. I also try to avoid doing dishes when I can).
So, yesterday, Sawyer finally requested one thing:
"Dad, can we go to the storage unit and get the weapons bucket?"
Ah, yes. The weapons bucket.
If you need a weapon, we have all varieties as you can see: swords, shields, lightsabers, dart guns, bows and arrows.....you name it, we have it.
Sawyer has indeed been missing his various options in the weapons department.
But, fear not.
The weapons bucket has returned.

So funny! I love it! Showing my house pretty much sounds like a nightmare right about now (um, or EVER!). i will never be known for having a spotlessly clean house. and you know what? i'm perfectly fine with that!
ah, boys and their weapons. it's inevitable. we've shied away from the gun thing and lo and behold sticks, fingers, toast(!), yup, they all become guns. the knight sword has to be jude's favorite. glad your boy can have his weapons back! :) even more glad you're done with showings!
