Halloween.
Yes, most of you trick-or-treated last week. However, we had 18 inches of snow on the ground along with a crazy amount of trees and power lines. Apparently the powers that be decided that a child being electrocuted by downed power lines would dampen the festive spirit of Halloween, so they postponed it, to last night. Much to the chagrin of many- not the least of which was Cooper- who was VERY excited about his first Halloween- an American holiday that involved getting a bag full of free candy from the neighbors!
It was wicked cold, but we had fun anyway.
Mickey and Minnie! Chloe originally wanted to be Snow White, but the promise of a new sparkly dress and soma fancy shoes was all she needed to get on board with the theme! :)
This is Cooper's "I'm-tolerating-you" face.
My sister, Melissa, always dresses up- which my kids LOVE. This year, she dressed up as Leia, obviously, to complement Sawyer's Luke/Anakin (depending when you ask him).
I personally find it uncanny how much he actually LOOKS like Luke Skywalker!
The force is obviously strong with him.
All in all, it was a fun night- if a week late!

What a darling Mickey and Minnie pair!
And your sister is so cool! You know, Star Wars was the first movie I ever saw in a theatre and Princess Leia was my idol...
Oh my word... those are some AWESOME costumes! What great photos, and your sister ROCKS the Princess Leia costume. And Sawyer's pose on the rock, are you kidding me!?! ~ he DOES look authentic! :)
